Dorothy Lorine Carver

Mrs. Dorothy Lorine Carver, 102, was born on December 16, 1921, in Henry Co., TN to the late Joe Fowler and the late Allie Merrell Fowler. She departed this life on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at American Memory Care in Jackson, TN. Most of her life she lived in Vale, TN. She was a member of Marlsboro Baptist Church. Mrs. Carver was preceded in death by her husband Buford Carver, three sisters Geneva Webb, Novella Foster, Nadine Mitchell also two brothers Earl Fowler and Kenneth Fowler.  She is survived by two daughters Dottie (Bruce) Dorris of Jackson and Carol Chandler( Alex) Alexander of Hendersonville, TN . Four grandchildren Heather (Mark) Miller, Clint (Brooke) Dorris, Jay Chandler and Brett Chandler. Eight great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Pisgah Cemetery at 24013 TN -114 Hollow Rock, TN.  The family is getting together for dessert and coffee after the service at the Lyon's Den in Bruceton and have given family and friends an invitation to come by and visit.
