William Charles Thompson

Mr. William Charles Thompson,82, departed this life on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at his home in Buena Vista, TN. surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Thompson was born on April 23, 1942, in Paris , TN to the late William Clayton Thompson and Eddie Odell Redmon Thompson. He was a member and served as deacon for 50 years  at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church  and a retired laborer for Haldex Inc.  Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Maness Thompson and a sister Judy Clark. He is survived by two sons  William Chris  Thompson of Memphis and Keith (Jeanna) Thompson of Buena Vista, TN.  Three grandson Clay (Tyler) Thompson , Hunter Thompson (Halie), Dillon (Hannah) Thompson. Three great grandchildren  Graham Thompson, Tate Thompson and Sunny Thompson. Two brothers Richard Thompson and Randy Thompson . Also a brother-in-law Ray Clark.  Services will be held Sunday, June 16 at 1:00 PM  at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15 from 4:00 PM till 8:00PM and on Sunday from 9:00 AM till 12:15 then departure for Mt. Nebo Baptist Church  for services. Burial will follow in McAuley Cemetery in Buena Vista, TN
